Tea for Blue

Howdy Blue here,

84’s been a busy 🐝 recently, so I’ve taken over the reins again.

84 has told me that if I’m doing a take over I have to blog about something useful. Well I nearly said phnh to that but then I had an idea – I’m going to share with you how I make the perfect cup of tea.

Apologies in advance if I miss a few steps but I’m only a little bear. 🐻

Step one:

Fill the kettle with water and turn on the kettle.

Step two:

While waiting for the water to boil, get a mug and place a tea bag in it.

Step three:

Now here’s the shocker place your desired amount of milk into the mug.

Step four:

When the water has boiled, pour it into the mug.

Step five:

Leave the tea to brew for a few minutes

Step six:

Stir the tea to see how strong it is – check the colour I like mine strong so leave the teabag in for a while.

Step seven:

When the tea is the desired strength remove the teabag

Step eight:

Leave to cool for a short time – nobody likes a burnt tongue.
Finally enjoy the perfect cup of tea.

BLOGMAS (day 12)

Today is the day of another General election for the UK with it being the third one held within 5 year. At my school, it was the talk of the day and we have had a mini polling station to find out the Political opinions within the school.

At lunch, I voted in the hall where we got given mini polling cards. As the card did not tell us how to fill in the box, I put a cat in my box. The results were then in by the end of the day and concluded with; Labour (220), Conservitives (126) and Green Party (94).

A couple of week ago, the candidates for our area came in for a mini debate. We had someone from Labour, Conservatives and Green party all come to answer our years questions and unfortunately the Liberal Democrats candidate was unable to come. It was a really great debate and we were able to hear all about the plans each candidate wanted for our area. I wanted to ask about whether if the candidates were unable to vote for there own party who would they vote for and why. However, I was unable to ask my question due to us running out of time. The Labour and Conservative candidates were both getting pretty argumentative but overall, everyone was fairly relaxed.

I am very excited to see the results tommorrow due to this election be very important.

St. George’s Day Parade

Last year at my districts annual St. George’s Day Parade I spoke about The First World War in front of the whole Cathedral. I also spoke to the VIPs about my World Scout Jamboree experience I was going on.

This year I got invited to also talk about my World Scout Jamboree experience but I could also carry one of the Explorer flag. I choose this year to carry a flag.

I got chosen to carry the Union Flag which would lead the colours. I therefore lead all of the flags and was in the front of the parade. It was a really good service however, we did not sing the Lord of the Dance or He’s got the whole world in his hands.
