BLOGMAS (day 6)

Meet Roger.

Roger is a colour chainging light remote which has enjoyed many adventures with me over this past week. Roger belongs to my friend who has moved schools for sixth form. Last week, my friend came into school to collect her GCSE exam certificates as well as her DT project work however, she forgot to pick up her remote control for her lamp – hence, I was entrusted to look after Roger for the week. Here are our adventures before he gets collected this evening.

On Monday, I picked Roger up from school before heading home to discover there was no Beavers. We then completed some work before packing my bags for the next day.

On Tuesday, we went to school and participated in a rehearsal for the Boars head. This is a traditional song which the sixth formers sing each year at the Christmas Concert. Roger enjoyed the rehearsal and that evening he popped along to Explorers. At Explorers we learnt a new game on castles and built some human pyramids. We also participated on some go carts at the end of the evening.

On Wednesday, Roger came to school again and also helped out with the Sixth form open evening for prospectus year 12. He helped out  in the Mathematics department.

On Thursday, Roger came back to school and in that evening helped me fundraise at a Guiding event. He also then joined me at dance later that evening.
